Rainbowzz totally exceeded my expectations! It was my first time trying shaved ice and it was SO GOOD. The service here was also great. The lady at the counter was so nice and extremely helpful, especially since I had never ordered shaved ice before.
I got the lychee with condensed milk and it did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it! I would recommend Rainbowzz to anyone. -

The Pina Colada smoothie was refreshingly delicious. Not too sweet and the portion size was big. I very much enjoyed it. The Haupia Shave Ice Sundae was a different kind of treat. I've never tried something like this before. Again it was sweet, but not too sweet and creamy yet icy in texture. It was much smaller than the smoothie. Definitely easier for one person to finish off. I couldn't even finish my smoothie, it was that big.
The staff were nice and welcoming. This is the type of place you go to cool off while enjoying a tasty treat. -

Ok this place has become a family favorite! You have to try the taro smoothie with haupia walls and extra boba! Or, the Haupia Shave ice smoothie with extra boba. So so good!

After a hearty and long-awaited meal next door at Papa Ole's, the idea of boba sounded amazing. When I went to the grocery store and passed by, Rainbowzz wasn't open yet... fortunately we finished lunch in time for them to unlock its doors.
I was the first customer of the day. Stupidly, I spilled my leftovers all of the floor. DOH. Quickly I grabbed a ton of napkins and wiped up the mess. The staff members didn't roll their eyes and offered to help instead. For me, that was a sign of excellent customer service.
There was a small number of options, but it was a tough decision. My dilemma is always between taro and honeydew. I decided on honeydew milk tea with boba. Excellent choice! The honeydew was super sweet, which is what I like. (The sugar level can be adjusted.) The boba also had the perfect texture.
As my fiancé and I drove back from Rainbowzz to our hotel, the drink was an enjoyable sweet treat. I was craving boba, and this certainly hit the spot. There were other desserts available, so I'll have to come back to try those. In Hawaii I'd usually opt for shave ice, but this was a great way to mix it up.
